Terms of Service

These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the fortune-telling and astrology services, tools, calculators, and content, as well as member accounts, coins, community features, and all other services (the “Service”) provided by Byeolja (the “Site”), together with the rights and obligations of users and the Site.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Site and users, along with any other necessary matters, in connection with a user's use of the services provided by the Site.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • Service: All free and paid tools, content, fortune-telling and astrology results, community features, and other functions provided by the Site.
  • User: A member or non-member who uses the Service under these Terms.
  • Member: A person who creates an account and signs in through social login (Google, Kakao, etc.).
  • Non-member: A person who uses the Service without signing in.
  • Coin: In-service currency used for certain paid (premium) features; it is not cash.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)

  • The Site posts these Terms on the service screen so that users can easily access them.
  • The Site may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law. When it does, it will state the effective date and the reasons for the amendment and announce them on the Site.
  • For amendments unfavorable to users, the Site will give notice for a set period before the effective date. A user who does not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the Service and withdraw. Continuing to use the Service after such notice is deemed acceptance of the amendment.

Article 4 (Provision and Modification of the Service)

  • The Site provides fortune-telling and astrology services, free online tools and information, member-only features (such as saving and revisiting results), a community, and more.
  • The content and structure of the Service may be added to, changed, or discontinued as required for operational or technical reasons, and any material change will be announced in advance.

Article 5 (Suspension of the Service)

  • The Site may temporarily suspend the Service in the event of system maintenance, replacement, or failure, communication outages, or disruptions to external services such as hosting and databases.
  • The Site is released from liability where it is unable to provide the Service due to natural disaster, emergency, or other force majeure.

Article 6 (Membership and Accounts)

  • Membership is established when a user agrees to these Terms and to the collection and use of personal information, and completes social login (Google, Kakao, etc.).
  • Members must be at least 14 years of age. Children under 14 require the consent of a legal guardian.
  • An account may be used only by its owner, and account or login credentials may not be transferred or lent to others.
  • If a social login provider confirms the same verified email, the account may be linked (merged) with an existing account.

Article 7 (Withdrawal and Restriction of Use)

  • A member may request withdrawal at any time. Upon withdrawal, information linked to the account is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Withdrawal requests are received at aiden7109@gmail.com.
  • If a user violates these Terms or applicable law, the Site may restrict use of the Service or suspend or terminate the account after prior notice (or after the fact in urgent cases).

Article 8 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in any of the following:

  • Misusing another person's account or personal information, or registering false information
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service (automated scraping, abnormal traffic, system intrusion, etc.)
  • Infringing the copyright or other rights of the Site or third parties, or acting in violation of law or public order and morals
  • Acquiring or using in-service currency such as coins through improper means

Article 9 (Coins and Paid Services)

  • Coins are in-service currency used for certain premium features (for example, AI consultations and detailed interpretations). They are obtained free of charge, such as through a sign-up bonus, or through paid purchases that may be introduced in the future.
  • Coins granted free of charge are not eligible for refund. Refunds of purchased coins are governed by applicable law (including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) and any separately announced policy.
  • Coins cannot be exchanged for cash, and any remaining coins are forfeited upon account termination or withdrawal.

Article 10 (Nature of Fortune and Calculation Results, and Disclaimer)

  • Content such as fortune-telling, saju, and astrology is for entertainment and self-understanding purposes only; it does not guarantee the future and does not replace medical, legal, or financial judgment.
  • Results from tools and calculators are for reference only, and their accuracy and completeness are not guaranteed. In particular, salary, tax, and health-related calculations are estimates and have no legal, financial, or medical effect.
  • The user is solely responsible for any decision made in reliance on information from the Site and for the outcome of that decision.

Article 11 (Community User Content)

  • The community board is a space where users post articles and comments under a nickname without signing up. The author is solely responsible for the content they post, which does not represent the official position of the Site.
  • Content falling under any of the following may be hidden or deleted without prior notice: profanity, defamation, or obscene material; advertising, flooding, or spam; infringement of the copyright, reputation, personal information, or other rights of third parties; illegal information; and anything else that interferes with the operation of the Service.
  • Authors may delete their own posts using the password set at the time of writing. A lost password cannot be recovered.
  • Posts related to stocks or investments reflect the individual opinions of users and are not investment recommendations. The user is solely responsible for investment decisions and their outcomes.

Article 12 (Intellectual Property)

Copyright in the content and tools created by the Site belongs to the Site. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited. Copyright in content created by users belongs to the author; however, the Site may use such content to the extent necessary to operate and display the Service.

Article 13 (Limitation of Liability)

  • The Site is not liable in connection with the use of services provided free of charge, unless otherwise specifically provided by applicable law.
  • The Site has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising through the Service between users, or between a user and a third party, and is not liable for any resulting damages.
  • The Site is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters or system failures.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising between the Site and a user in connection with the use of the Service shall be brought before the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
